A 44-year-old man suffering mental health problems has been arrested for allegedly killed his 10-year-old son by cutting his throat on Tuesday at Cura di Vetralla in the central province of Viterbo.
The man, a Polish national, is in hospital in code red due to his mental state, sources said He had been banned from being in the area of the family home.
He reportedly killed the boy after leaving a hospital in Rome where he was being treated for COVID-19.
