There were moments of high tension,
with police charges, Friday morning in Venice due to a protest
by a student collective against the presence of Minister Anna
Maria Bernini at the inauguration of the academic year at Ca'
Foscari, with students claiming "a lack of investment in housing
and the university, but support with weapons for the slaughter
of Palestinian children."
Students and policemen came into contact, but there were no acts
of violence: nobody suffered any consequences.
