A terracotta statue of F1 Ferrari
pilot Lewis Hamilton, wearing a red helmet and racewear, is set
to adorn Nativity scenes after being produced in Naples' Via San
Gregorio Armeno, the street famous for its shops selling
Nativity pieces.
After driving a Ferrari for the first time this week, which the
pilot said was among the most beautiful moments of his life,
Hamilton appeared at the workshop of Neapolitan artisan Genny Di
Virgilio.
It is now on display on the shelves dedicated to statuettes
portraying VIPs such as tennis champion Jannik Sinner.
"We expect great things this year and I am sure the
duo-Hamilton-Ferrari will bring" the team to "the top of the
world", commented Di Virgilio.
