The DNA of Andrea Sempio, a new
suspect in the 2007 murder of 26-year-old Chiara Poggi, has been
found on her fingernails, experts said Wednesday in their study
that led to the reopening of the case last month.
Sempio, 37, is a friend of Poggi's brother Marco.
Poggi's boyfriend Alberto Stasi is serving a 16-year jail term
for her murder.
Stasi, 41, said on March 12 that he has confidence that justice
will be served and the truth will come out.
