Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will be
in Washington on Thursday, April 17, for a meeting with US
President Donald Trump, Meloni announced during roundtables with
business categories on Trump's tariffs impacts at Palazzo Chigi
on Tuesday.
There has been speculation that Meloni, the only EU leader
invited to Trump's inauguration, may help mediate over the 20%
tariffs on EU goods.
