A judge on Tuesday ordered
prosecutors in a false accounting trail against Tourism Minister
Daniela Santanchè to rewrite the charges in order to divide up
the alleged false accounting by year, postponing the hearing.
In the trial, the minister and 15 others are accused over the
activities of her former publishing firm Visibilia.
The trial, one of several cases involving Santanchè, was
adjourned to May 13.
Santanchè recently survived a no confidence motion and has vowed
not to resign unless she is indicted in a more serious case
involving alleged fraud against pensions and social security
agency INPS over COVID benefits for staff.
