Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on
Thursday voiced Italy's concern about the crisis between India
and Pakistan to his counterparts in the two Asian countries,
where tension is still rising after tit-for-tat attacks
following a terror attack in Kashmir, the Farnesina said.
It said Tajani had just had two telephone conversations with the
Indian Foreign Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and the
Pakistani Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, to whom he
expressed deep concern about the serious escalation of tension
between India and Pakistan, starting from the barbaric attack on
April 22 in Pahalgam and the day after the Indian raids, which
led to human and material losses, said the Italian foreign
ministry.
