On Friday 11 April, at the Palazzo dei Conti Pombeiro, the headquarters of the Italian Embassy in Lisbon, in the presence of Jacopo Chessa, President of Italia Film Commissions, and Luís Chaby Vaz, President of the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual and Portugal Film Commissions, a meeting was held between producers, directors, actors and professionals from the Italian and Portuguese film sectors, aimed at fostering possible collaborations between the film industries of the two countries.
The initiative was part of the programme of the 18th edition of the Festa do Cinema Italiano and took place on the occasion of the National Made in Italy Day, an annual event established by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy that is celebrated on 15 April, the anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's birth.
