The Italian Ambassador to Croatia Paolo Trichilo spoke at a conference in Bale (Istria), organised by the Croatian Serie A team from Pula 'Istra 1961', invited by President Vincenti. The conference was attended by representatives from politics, starting with the Secretary of State for Sport Pavic and the President of the Istrian region Miletic, from sport, the Olympic Committee and the football federation of the Republic of Croatia, from the Spanish Liga (Alaves is the owner of Istra 1961), as well as university professors with expertise in the field.
In this context, Ambassador Trichilo gave a lecture on sports diplomacy in Italy in front of a qualified audience, proposing a Ppt presentation prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from which emerged the strong points of the line adopted by our country in this sector and its importance from the cultural and economic point of view, also recalling the initiatives taken locally in Croatia by the Embassy, from the Day of Italian Sport in the World in Zagreb to the exhibition dedicated to Paolo Rossi in Rijeka.
