From today until 10 June, as part of the Budapest Photo Festival and the Budapest Dance Festival, there will be a photo exhibition by Simone Ghera with the theme dancer Inside Budapest'. The exhibition, curated among others by the Italian Cultural Institute, is part of a larger international project, containing images of dancers from different Hungarian companies, taken in iconic locations focusing on architectural and historical contexts. Each photograph represents the combination of two opposite but related elements, which are the pillars of the project: Architecture and Dance. Simone Ghera, an architect by training, Roman by birth and resident in Berlin, has focused his attention on the use of light, considering it as one of the most creative aspects of photographic art and continuing to favour black and white shots. At the same time, he has developed a special focus on the world of dance, which has always attracted him, interpreting it through architecture.
