'Sacha' Zverev in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters
tournament, thus mathematically preventing the German from being
able to snatch the number 1 spot from Italy's Jannik Sinner
before the latter's return to the court, at the Rome
Internationals open championships on May 6-18.
The Italian won in a comeback with a score of 2-6, 6-3, 7-5.
