Three minors and one vulnerable adult
of the 49 migrants who arrived Tuesday in Shengjin, Albania, on
the Cassiopea patrol boat, will be taken to Italy this evening,
ANSA has learned.
The assessment of the adult, again from what has been learned,
was possible thanks to the monitoring work carried out by the
UNHCR.
Rome is restarting its innovative but controversial migrant
processing centres in the Balkan country after earlier cases
were stymied by the courts, having transferred rulings to
appeals courts and having drafted a new list of safe countries
of origin.
