The father of a nine-month-old girl
mauled to death by her family's pet pitbull while she was lying
in bed with him Saturday night has tested positive for hashish,
Naples newspaper Il Mattino reported Tuesday.
The man, who has told police he cannot explain the attack at
Acerra near Naples, tested negative for cocaine and opioids,
said the paper.
Police are reportedly combing CCTV footage to establish the
man's possible movements at the time Tyson, a pitbull without a
microchip, killed his daughter.
The man is under investigation for possible criminal negligence.
