Pope Leo XIV on Monday signed
autographs after meeting the world media for the first time
since becoming pope last Thursday, including on a baseball.
The Chicago native, 69, is a White Sox fan as a proud South
Sider. North Siders typically support the Cubs.
Leo has loved the sport he has loved since his boyhood in the
Illinois capital.
Passing by a journalist dressed in white, the forer Cardinal
Robert Francis Prevost also joked about the colour match by
standing next to the reporter in front of the camera.
