Atalanta made sure of qualification
for next season's UEFA Champions League by beating AS Roma 2-1
in Bergamo on Monday, ending the visitors' 19-match unbeaten run
in the process.
Ibrahim Sulemana drilled home the winner for last season's
Europa League champions in the second half after Roma's Bryan
Cristante had cancelled out Ademola Lookman's opener for the
hosts.
With two games to go third-placed Atalanta have 71 points in
Serie A, seven more than than fifth-placed Lazio, meaning they
are sure to finish in the top four and qualify for the UCL.
Despite the defeat, sixth-placed Roma are still in with a good
chance of a top four finish.
They are just a point behind Lazio and fourth-placed Juventus,
who drew with each other on Saturday.
