Today, President Aleksandar Vucic
and the government launched a three-day popular mobilisation in
Serbia in support of national unity and stability, as well as
against the country's divisions and splits, which began five
months ago with student protests in agitation, supported by the
opposition, following the deaths of 16 people in the Novi Sad
station collapse. Many initiatives in support of Vucic and
Serbian leadership will culminate in tomorrow's large rally
called by the president on the esplanade in front of parliament,
during which the formation of a new Popular Movement will be
announced. A first pro-government demonstration is planned for
this afternoon in the centre.
