The key figure in the suspected
alliance in Lombardy of Italy's three mafias 'Ndrangheta, Cosa
Nostra and the Camorra, Paolo Aurelio Errante Parrino, was
caught on an arrest warrant in the Hydra probe after going
missing two days previously, police asid.
Errnate Parrino, 77, is a cousin of late last Godfather Matteo
Messina Denaro and is believed to be the reference point in
northern Italy of the latter's Castelvetrano 'mandamento'
(chapter) near Trapani.
He made himself scarce when Carabineri tried to serve the arrest
warrants on Saturday.
