Pope Francis is in stable condition
and has not had any more episodes of respiratory failure as he
battles pneumonia in a Rome hospital, a medical bulletin said
Wednesday.
The Holy Father remained stationary today without showing
episodes of respiratory failure", said the Medical Bulletin on
the Pope's conditions released this evening by the Vatican Press
Office.
"As planned, during the day, he underwent high-flow oxygen
therapy and non-invasive mechanical ventilation will be resumed
during the night", it is explained.
"The Holy Father increased respiratory physiotherapy and active
motor therapy. He spent the day in an armchair".
