A NGO-run search-and-rescue vessel,
the Sea Punk, has rescued 15 people and recovered three bodies
after the shipwreck of a migrant-boat in the southern
Mediterranean.
Survivors said three people are missing as there were 21 people
on board.
The rescue was carried out in Malta's SAR area some 53 nautical
miles from the Italian island of Lampedusa.
Three of the survivors are in a critical condition.
An Italian Coast Guard patrol boat has been sent to the area of
the shipwreck and will pick up the survivors and the three
bodies.
